Houston, Texas – DEForce Racing is pleased to announce that they will be running the full 2019 season of the newly branded Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires with drivers Kory Enders and Moises De La Vara.

Formally known as the Pro Mazda Championship, the middle step of the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires eventually leads drivers to the NTT Verizon IndyCar Series with several scholarship opportunities along the way. DEForce will begin their first full season on this rung of the ladder after competing in several different races since 2016. The Houston based team is thrilled to be joined by veteran drivers, Enders, and De La Vara.

Enders currently resides in Sugarland, Texas and joins DEForce for the third year in a row after completing testing in 2016 before competing in two full seasons of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship in 2017 and 2018. Enders finished 8th out of 34 competitors in the 2018 season and had the highlight of his racing career after winning pole and all three races of the final round of the FIA Formula 4 NACAM Championship on the Formula One sanctioned track, Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in July of 2018.

De La Vara was also one of the first drivers to work with the team back in September of 2016. The Mexican driver completed three seasons of the Mexican FIA F4 Championship. After winning the 2018 F4 Championship, De La Vara joined DEForce for the Pro Mazda weekends at Mid-Ohio, Gateway, and Portland. Both drivers will be battling for the champion’s purse valued at $596,700 to progress to Indy Lights. The team and drivers will be operating the state-of-the-art Tatuus PM-18.

The 2019 Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires will have their season opener March 8-10th at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. There will be sixteen rounds total spread out among nine weekends. For more information about the series or the team, go to https://www.IndyPro2000.com/
