Lexington, Ohio– August 3, 2015 – Rob Howden, lead commentator for the Mazda Road to Indy, exclaimed that race two of the Cooper Tires Pro Mazda Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio was "WIll Owen's best performance of the year" thus far. Owen put on a show in his Juncos Racing machine all weekend. By running a faster lap in race one than he did during qualifying, the rookie driver was able to improve his starting position for race two where he kept the momentum going by making two daring passes at turn 4 that brought his finishing position to fifth.

This week, Owen will trade his #23 Juncos Racing machine for a Cirrus sr20 airplane en route to obtaining his pilots license. The twenty year old will take flight from Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colorado, and make two trips completely solo. Soon after, Owen will return to Texas Christian University for his sophomore year. With only two more races left in his rookie season of the Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires, Owen will look to gain his first victory at the famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit September tenth.
