Connor De Phillippi / San Clemente, CA / #11 Team Pelfrey / Justice Brothers Products / Trademark Garage Floors

This is Connor De Phillippi's second season in the Star Mazda Championship; he will drive for the newly-revived Team Pelfrey, a Clearwater, FL-based team that was competitive in the IZOD IndyCar series from 1998 – 2001 and is now fielding a 2-car team in the 2011 Star Mazda Championship.  His teammate is St. Pete native Nick Andries.  De Phillippi was the 2009 Skip Barber Pro Series champion and raced in Star Mazda in 2010 with scholarship backing from the MAZDASPEED Motorsports Driver Development Ladder.  He won the final race of the season from the pole, scored three podium finishes as well as eight top-5s and finished 3rd overall in the championship.  He also won the 'Rookie of the Year' title.  He began his career with karting in 2001, switched to open-wheel racing in 2007 and won the Skip Barber Scholarship Shootout in 2008.  2009 saw him add another accomplishment to his resume; the prestigious Walter Hayes Memorial Race, where his is the youngest driver and only the second American to win this race.  He was born on December 25, 1992 in Temecula, California and currently lives in San Clemente, California.
