International karting champion Tatiana Calderon will be in her second season of Star Mazda Championship competition in 2011.  Now 17 years old she competed with Juncos Racing in karting five years ago and re-united with the team for the 2010 Star Mazda season where she scored six top-10 finishes and tied for 10th in the championship (with JDC Motorsports driver Chris Miller).  Her resume includes substantial karting credentials and she made racing history as the first female competitor to win the Snap-on Stars of Karting Divisional Championship when she took home the JICA Eastern Division title in 2008.  She is a student, fluent in Spanish, English and German and her goal is to become an F1 driver.  She was born March 10, 1993 in Bogota, Colombia.
